Hello, my name is Josh Fulkerson.  In case you haven’t noticed, we love to travel as a family and we love to do it a lot.  Hence the name, the Persistent Traveler.  I traveled fairly frequently between 2003 and 2006, but after getting married and having a couple kids, I took a fairly long break from traveling.

Fast Forward to 2015, my wife and I took our first trip in a very long time.  We went to New York City on a 4 day weekend.  We were able to squeeze in some great sightseeing around the city, we were able to sample some local dishes, and we relaxed in Central Park.  After 4 days of in New York, we flew back to Utah (our current residence)

Two months later we traveled once again to the East Coast, but this time to Florida with the kids.  We had a great time there and we really began to love traveling.  In 2016 we visited San Diego, California and then took our first International Vacation together to Cancun, Mexico.

By this time, we came to love traveling as a family. and we especially loved to travel outside of our home country, the USA.  There is so much to see in the world, so much culture to experience, and so many good dishes to try, that we wanted to share these experiences with you in order to inspire you to take your family out on adventurous vacations.  Thus, in 2017, my Travel Blog, Persistent Traveler was born.  This is a travel blog  focused on Family Adventure Travel.
